Delhi's air quality likely to turn 'poor'; monsoon expected to withdraw from northwest India

The national capital's air quality was recorded in the 'moderate' category on Wednesday morning, while a government forecasting agency said it is likely to turn 'poor' by Friday. Delhi recorded an air quality index (AQI) of 160 at 10:30 am, which falls in the moderate category. The 24-hour average AQI on Tuesday was 177.

Hathras gangrape case: CM Adityanath forms 3-member SIT for investigation; directs trial in fast-track court

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the Hathras gangrape incident. According to the details, the team will submit a report on the same within 7 days. The chief minister has also directed a trial of the case in a fast-track court. Greater Noida West Metro Line: NMRC issues tender for 5 stations

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is set to build five metro stations on the extension corridor of the Aqua Line to Greater Noida West in the first phase. According to a report with the Hindustan Times, the NMRC has issued a tender for the same and the proposed route will connect Noida’s Sector 51 metro station with Greater Noida’s Sector 2 metro station.
