PM Modi to address Mann Ki Baat at 11 am today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Mann ki Baat at 11 am today. Earlier, PM Modi had invited suggestions for his monthly radio programme.  “Do join tomorrow, 27th September at 11 AM. #MannKiBaat," PM Modi wrote on Twitter. The programme is held on the last Sunday of every month, through which the Prime Minister interacts with the nation.

Former Union Minister Jaswant Singh passed away on Sunday. He was 82. Jaswant Singh held defence, external affairs and finance portfolios in Vajpayee's different ministries from 1996-2004. In a tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the seasoned BJP leader "served our nation diligently first as a soldier and later during his long association with politics."

Valmiki hospital doctors to withdraw services following late action on assailants

The Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of Delhi government's Maharishi Valmiki Hospital have threatened to withdraw all essential and non-essential services of the hospital from Monday onwards in view of delay to initiate action against a patient and her attendant after they allegedly assaulted a doctor on Saturday, as per a letter the doctors' association has written to the hospital's medical superintendent (MS).
