Earthquake hits Ladakh

An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale struck Ladakh in the wee hours on Saturday. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 02:14 am at a depth of 10 kilometres. "Earthquake of Magnitude:3.7, Occurred on 26-09-2020, 02:14:39 IST, Latitude: 34.80 and Longitude: 78.05, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Ladakh," the NCS tweeted.

PM Modi is also 'my son', says Shaheen Bagh 'dadi' who featured in TIME's 100 most influential people of 2020

PM Narendra Modi and 82-year-old Bilkis who was among many in the Shaheen Bagh protests in Delhi last year against CAA, NRC, made it to the TIME magazine 100 most influential people of 2020. However, now Bilkis has said that even PM Modi is "my son" and would be happy to meet him, if she is invited. On making into TIME 100 most influential people in 2020, the 82-year-old said she was happy to have been recognised by the TIME magazine, but would have been happier had her demand been met.

Golden Temple langar gets big donation from Canada India Foundation

The Canada India Foundation (CIF) has announced to donate C$21,000 to the langar at the Golden Temple in Amritsar where over 100,000 people eat free meals each day. The Foundation, which also honours a prominent Indian from anywhere in the world with the Global Indian Award each year, is donating to the langar after the amended Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act granted registration to the Golden Temple to receive direct foreign donations.

Symptomatic antigen-negative patients to be retested using RT-PCR method: Delhi govt

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's condition improves

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is battling a double infection of coronavirus and dengue, is better now, an official from his office said on Friday. Sisodia is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital, Saket, where he was moved on Thursday evening from the Delhi government-run LNJP Hospital due to his "falling" blood platelet count and low oxygen level.
