Delhi court sends 6 alleged Al-Qaeda terrorists to 4-day NIA custody

A Delhi court on Tuesday sent six suspected Al-Qaeda terrorists to four-day custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). On September 19, the NIA had busted an inter-state terror module sponsored by the Al-Qaeda from Pakistan. Six alleged terrorists were arrested from West Bengal's Murshidabad district, and three from Kerala's Ernakulum district.

e-Challan system launched in Kerala

Modernising the traffic department, the Kerala government on Tuesday launched the e-Challan system, by which those violating traffic rules can remit fines instantly, using debit and credit cards. Inaugurating the new system online, Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan said complaints regarding the imposition of traffic penalties will be a thing of the past in the state with the introduction of the e-Challan initiative of the Kerala police.

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar gets Income Tax notice over poll affidavits

Air tickets booked before, during lockdown refundable: DGCA tells Supreme Court

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has informed the Supreme Court that people who had booked air tickets during the lockdown are entitled to immediate refunds. The DGCA also clarified that in case of tickets booked prior to the lockdown up to May 24, the refund would be governed by the credit shell and incentive scheme.

J&K: Drone dropped arms, ammunition recovered from Akhnoor

Security forces on Tuesday recovered a large cache of drone dropped arms and ammunition in Akhnoor border area of J&K's Jammu district. Police sources said local police and the army recovered two AK-47 assault rifles, three AK magazines, 90 rounds of AK-47 rifle and one-star pistol.
