4-acre marijuana farm unearthed in Karnataka, 9,872 kg of ganja seized
The Karnataka Police has discovered a 4-acre Marijuana farm in Chitradurga district's Rampura. The police officials have also discovered 9,872 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs. 4.2 crore. According to reports, three people have been arrested in connection with the case. However, the police are yet to track down the prime suspect Rudresh, who was cultivating cannabis plants in a land he had rented from three brothers in Chitradurga.

A special CBI court hearing the Babri mosque demolition case will pronounce its judgment on September 30. Judge SK Yadav has directed all accused to remain present in the court on the day of judgment. Prominent among the 32 accused are former deputy prime minister L K Advani and BJP leaders M M Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti and Vinay Katiyar.

Centre approved anti-viral medicines to treat COVID-19 patients, says SC
The Supreme Court on Wednesday said there was an approval by the Central government on use of Remdesivir and Fabiparivir as medicines to treat COVID-19. The top court was hearing a plea seeking registration of an FIR by the CBI against ten Indian pharmaceutical firms for manufacturing and selling these two medicines for treating COVID-19 patients allegedly without valid licences.
