Paying condolences on the death of veteran RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said his demise has left a deep void in the political sphere of Bihar and the country. Prasad's recent resignation from the RJD founded and headed by Lalu Prasad has left political waters in Bihar astir. He also wrote an open letter, a day later, addressed to Prasads arch rival and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, triggering speculations about his future moves.

Railways to allow NEET candidates, other examinees to travel in Mumbai locals using ID cards, hall tickets

The Central Railway has announced that the students appearing for final year exams and other competitive exams like NEET will be allowed to travel on Mumbai local trains upon producing identity cars and hall tickets. NEET-2020, the entrance examination for medical college, is scheduled to be held today, i.e. September 13.

Kolkata Metro resumes services with NEET special trains

The wheels of Kolkata Metro started rolling again with passengers on Sunday after nearly six months with special services for NEET examinees and their guardians.
