Secunderabad-Delhi Rajdhani not to run from next week

Indian Railways has decided to stop Rajdhani Express services between Secunderabad and New Delhi due to poor occupancy.

Delhi Metro resumes services on Blue and Pink lines

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday resumed services on Blue and Pink lines after being closed since March due to coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Yellow line was resumed on Monday with limited operations. According to DMRC, metro trains will run from 7 am to 11 am in the morning and 4 pm to 8 pm in the evening on both the lines.

Earthquake hits Nashik in Maharashtra

An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale struck Maharashtra early on Wednesday. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake tremors were felt 93 kms west of Nashik, at 04:17 am.

China confirms missing youth from Arunachal Pradesh found on their side, handover modalities being worked out

Minister of State for Minority Affairs and MP from Arunachal Pradesh Kiren Rijiju has said China has confirmed that missing youth from Arunachal Pradesh have been found on their side and further process to handover them to India is being worked out. Taking to Twitter, Kiren Rijiju said, "China's PLA has responded to the hotline message sent by the Indian Army. They have confirmed that the missing youths from Arunachal Pradesh have been found by their side. Further modalities to handover the persons to our authority is being worked out."

Mumbai airport rolls out contactless check-in system for passengers

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has put in place a QR code-enabled contactless check-in mechanism for the passengers, which allows them the use of their mobile phones to remotely operate check-in and self-bag drop kiosks for printing boarding passes and bag tags.

Weekend lockdown completely lifted in Uttar Pradesh, markets to open as per usual routine

In a welcome development for traders, businesses, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday revoked the Sunday restrictions following which markets will follow their weekly arrangements as per the earlier practice. The state government had earlier ordered weekend lockdowns in which all markets, commercial establishments and offices remained closed on Saturdays and Sundays to enable sanitization of various areas.

Noida Sunday lockdown lifted, markets to open as per pre-COVID era
