Five houses damaged in landslide in J-K's Udhampur

Five houses were damaged after a landslide struck a village in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday. The landslide, triggered by heavy rains, hit Gandtop in the hilly Basantgarh sub-division late Saturday, they said.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has donated eyes of her mother at AIIMS after her demise on Sunday, he informed via posting a message on micro-blogging website, Twitter. Vardhan said that it was her mother's wish to donate eyes after her death. "As per her wish, her eye donation was made at AIIMS right after her demise," he posted.

Moradabad: COVID-19 patient jumps to death, third such incident at TMU hospital

A police head constable, who had tested COVID-19 positive, allegedly jumped to death from the fifth floor of the TMU hospital here, officials said on Sunday. This is the third such incident in which a coronavirus patient has jumped to death at Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) hospital, they said.
