Love Jihad case: Kanpur Police arrests two people

The Kanpur police have arrested two persons in Uttar Pradesh in a 'love jihad' case. The arrests were made late Sunday and the two have been identified as Mohsin Khan and Aamir. The police said Mohsin Khan befriended a girl, posing as Sameer, and then married her.

NIA arrests Mundra dockyard supervisor who worked as ISI agent

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a supervisor at Mundra dockyard in Gujarat, who allegedly worked as an agent of Pakistani spy agency ISI, an official said. Rajakbhai Kumbhar, a resident of West Kutch in Gujarat, arrested on Sunday in connection with the investigation of 'Defence/ISI case' of Uttar Pradesh, the NIA official said.

Shiv Sena hits out at BJP over demand to reopen temples

India thwarts provocative movements by China in Eastern Ladakh

People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops late on Sunday violated the previous consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic engagements, following a standoff in Eastern Ladakh. According to Army's PRO Col Aman Anand, the PLA troops carried out provocative military movements to change the status quo. Commenting further, Anand said Indian troops pre-empted this PLA activity on the Southern Bank of Pangong Tso Lake.
