As many as 15 people were killed after a building collapsed in Maharashtra's Raigad on Monday evening. According to the details, at least 9 people were injured in the incident, while the rescue operations on the site of building collapse are still on. A four-year-old boy and a 60-year-old woman were rescued on Tuesday from the rubble of the five-storey building in Raigad district.

The Special Cell of Delhi police arrested JNU PhD scholar Sharjeel Imam in connection with the February Northeast Delhi riots. He has been booked on the charges of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). On Sunday, he was brought back to Delhi from Assam on the production warrant.

Weekly market in Delhi's Narela closed as locals violate social distancing norms
A weekly market in Narela area of North Delhi was on Tuesday ordered closed due to violation of social distancing norms which are in place in view of the COVID-19 situation, officials said. Weekly markets reopened in Delhi on Monday after a gap of more than five months with a number of preventive measures against the novel coronavirus such as vendors wearing face masks at all times, space between stalls, sanitiser dispensers and police patrol to check crowding.

Pakistani's ISI may have been planning fresh terror attacks in India as it had a major meeting with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists including its top leadership. Going by intelligence agencies sources, during the meeting, ways and means of fresh attack in Jammu and Kashmir were discussed. The security agencies have been put on high alert as a similar meeting was held two months before the Pulwama Attack.

Parliament Monsoon Session be held from September 14 to October 1, recommends Cabinet Committee
